So I'm sure you were up all night for the past three months. Thinking to yourself. "Where did Sam go?" "Is he not listening to KQ anymore?" Well folks you can stop sitting on your toilet seat at night cutting the Asia logo into your inner thigh. That is because after some serious investigating I was finally able to log in once again. So I'm feeling lazy tonite but here is just a lil taste, a flavor for what is to come.
Alanna Myles "Black Velvet"
-Have you ever sat in front of a mirror and taken a banana and started eating it? While staring intently into your own eyes? Slowly watching your mouth move up and down as you chomp down on that nanner. The only thing that could be going through my head would be this song.

4.04.04
twin cities classic rock juggernaut has been in my life since i was a very young boy. this is a document perhaps you could say a "snapshot", or a "slice of life" or "a polite reach around" into my world and what i hear on KQ92 each day.
(these selections are from 4.02.04)
Van Halen "Love Walks In"
-so when you hear your Dj say Mr. Wally Walker. Tell you he's got a tune from Van Halen coming up. then suddenly you are slapped in the face by this. VAN HAGAR. I think it's like when your friend asks you to come over for pizza. then you get there and it's vegan pizza. like vegan pizza, VAN HAGAR should not happen.
John Fogerty "Rock n Roll Girls"
-i applaud mr. fogerty for finally stepping it up on this song and putting in that saxophone solo. that puts this song over the top. by top i mean me on top of a rock n roll girl.
Molly Hatchet "Flirtin With Disaster"
-damn miss Hatchet. this song is better than anything Fugazi will ever do in their entire career. my boss at work gave me the nickname Flirtin with Disaster. i think that's fitting for someone like me who is always pushing his life to the limits. you know burying the needle. also Molly Hatchet had some seriously amazing album artwork that was brutal for a southern rock band.
